GlobiSport is a digital platform dedicated to connecting and empowering the entire sports ecosystem, from grassroots participants and amateur clubs to professional athletes, schools, national organisations, and fans. Our purpose is to foster growth, development, and connection, elevating the power of sport and its ability to change the world for the better through a shared passion.
We believe in “Change Through Sport,” and that starts with our community. These guidelines are designed to ensure GlobiSport remains a dynamic, inclusive, and safe space for everyone to Discover, Connect & Empower.
Our Core Principles
These principles are the foundation of our community. All guidelines are built on them, and we expect all members to uphold them in every interaction on the platform.
- Respect & Inclusivity: Every member of the GlobiSport community deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and dignity. We are a global family, and we celebrate the diversity of backgrounds, cultures, and abilities that sport brings together.
- Integrity & Trust: Our platform thrives on authenticity and honesty. We require every user to be truthful about their identity, qualifications, and the information they share, ensuring that opportunities are legitimate and connections are built on a foundation of trust.
- Empowerment & Positivity: Our mission is to uplift and positively impact lives. We encourage content and interactions that are inspiring, supportive, and constructive. We have zero tolerance for any content or behavior that aims to tear others down.
- Safety & Security: The well-being of our community, especially young athletes, is our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining a secure environment and a safe space for everyone to learn, grow, and connect.
Guidelines for Each Platform Pillar
These rules apply to all content, interactions, and activities on GlobiSport.
1. Community (Profile, Members, Groups, Feed)
- Authentic Identity: Use your real name and provide accurate, verifiable information on your profile. Misrepresenting yourself, your identity, or your qualifications is a violation of our trust policy.
- Respectful Interaction: Do not engage in any form of harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic. Disagreements and debates should remain respectful.
- Keep it Relevant: Ensure all posts and discussions in the main feed and within groups are relevant to the sports ecosystem. Off-topic, spammy, or promotional content (outside of designated areas) will be removed.
- Respect Privacy: Do not share private or confidential information about others without their explicit consent. This includes contact details, personal conversations, or sensitive data.
2. Development Hub (Coaching & Mentoring, Training Programs, Camps & Clinics)
- Credibility & Verification: As a provider, you must be truthful about your qualifications, certifications, and experience. GlobiSport reserves the right to request proof of certification and reserves the right to verify details to ensure trust within our community.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain a high standard of professional behavior in all communications and transactions. Fraudulent activity, misleading claims, or failure to deliver on promised services will result in immediate removal from the platform.
- Safety First: No inappropriate contact, language, or requests, especially when engaging with minors. Any communication that is deemed a safety risk will be acted upon immediately.
3. Career & Opportunities (Athletic, Coaching & Professional, Organisational)
- Legitimacy & Transparency: All opportunities listed must be genuine and verifiable. Misleading or fraudulent listings for trials, scholarships, job openings, or sponsorships are strictly prohibited.
- Fair Practice: Ensure all stated requirements, deadlines, and costs associated with an opportunity are clear, accurate, and fair. Do not solicit or accept any payments for opportunities unless a formal, verified agreement is in place.
4. Events (Trials & Showcases, Competitions, Social & Networking)
- Accurate Information: All event details, including dates, times, locations, and fees, must be accurate and up-to-date. Misleading event information harms the entire community.
- Adherence to Rules: Event organizers are responsible for ensuring that their events comply with all local laws, safety regulations, and the rules of the relevant sporting body.
5. Learning (Skills, Education, Career)
- Honesty & Ownership: All shared content, articles, and educational materials must be your own or properly attributed. Plagiarism and copyright infringement are not permitted.
- Constructive Feedback: When providing feedback or reviews, be constructive and respectful. Personal attacks or unproductive criticism will not be tolerated.
Enforcement & Reporting
Violating these guidelines can result in content removal, a temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account. We have a dedicated team to review all reports and take appropriate action.
